We welcome you to discuss the latest results in the field of cellular senescence at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens. Senescent cells have become an attractive target to be exploitable for therapeutic intervention to reduce or delay aged-related diseases including atherosclerosis, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and extend healthy lifespan. Cellular senescence is also relevant for tissue regeneration and tumor suppression and their modulation may lead to innovative anticancer treatments.
Register and participate in the: ICSA 2019 conference – “Cellular Senescence – The bright & dark side”. The conference aims to cover a diverse range of interdisciplinary topics focused on cellular senescence with worldwide attendance.
